Happy Heavenly Birthday

No words can possibly explain this day...
Please enjoy the photos and the short captions.
Happy 1st Heavenly Birthday Mom, you are greatly missed.

If you have ever been in the car with Jackson; you know
how he loves to point out every American flag there is,
So how appropriate to start the post with an American Flag.

We gathered at 4 pm(ish) (I was late...I will blame traffic on this tardy)
Anyways, we gathered at to have Spinato's Pizza
The "Super Six"
We use to be the super six; Dad, Mom, Grandma, Shannon, Ashley and I
...then we grew, we added Justin, and Jackson, Don, and now we have Miss Suri Roses!
When going to visit mom...the fountain is a must!

Happy Birthday Mom, you are beautiful!!!

Back up to the fountain...

Soccer ball Sunglasses are a must.

A family picnic...

Family warms your heart like the sun...

Just when we were all thinking, "Gosh, it sure would be nice if mom was here..."
Ashley looked up at the sky and pointed out...
"Look guys, that cloud sure looks like
a heart with an arrow through it"
Right then at that moment I knew, she was right there with us...

What a beautiful sign and a great reminder to look "up" once in a while...

Cousins...

Miss Suri Rose
new beginnings...

Giggles, and Smiles
See Mom, Shannon is laughing...TOLD you so!
She is an amazing Mom, just like you!

Another walk to the fountain...

Time to run an play...

...and to stop and twirl

Handsome Man...

"One hundred years from now,
it won't matter what car I drove, what kind of house I lived in,
how much I had in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like,
but the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child. "
More running and playing...

Like always...best buds

New best buds...

and how big is Suri Rose getting?!?!?
...SOOOOO Big!

Together with the grand kids

At times no words were needed,
Hugs did the talking.

Togetherness is important

...and more hugs were needed.

I love this boy...

Hugs are the BeSt!

...jucie juice is the best too!

...remember to take time and look up at the sky

This palm tree use to have a different meaning,
it is what I always looked for when we went to visit
Great Grandma Gaskill and Uncle Steve...
now, you.

its really nice, at certain times of the day,
its shade covers your grave...keeping you cool
and shading us when we visit.

me biting my lip...

Jackson Ryan

The flower Jackson brought for Mothers day,
the angel from Shannon and Suri and

Life is TOO short...
1955-2010

A beautiful day...
You are, and will always be
in our hearts forever.

The Broken Chain
Ron Tranmer

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide;
and though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same;
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

Mom,
Happy Heavenly Birthday
...save us a piece of cake!!!!
